Colour
relationships lie at the base of all my work.
Until recently my subject matter consisted of what
I see around me, sometimes the domestic almost
assuming a surreal quality.
Currently
my paintings are based on people and
places in the Southern United States in the early
20th Century.
I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
I have lived in London since 1962.
