fourfour gallery was created by its participating artists in 1999 to create and run exhibitions of their work. Since then, it has exhibited annually at the Affordable Art Fair in London and also for five years in New York, showing works by founders Anne Lynch, Julia McNeal and Frances Murray together with a number of guest artists.

The main focus has been works on paper including large scale painting and print, photography and ceramic sculpture evoking paper.
